
Swan Studios NYC contains three state-of-the-art studios where all in-house production is completed. All three studios are specialized toward different parts of production, and all three are available for your next project.
Whether you are planning an upcoming project, or are already in progress, our spaces are available for booking seven days a week on a first-come, first-served basis.

STUDIO EAST
STUDIO EAST: Our main mixing and mastering room, Studio East was designed and built around the Bowers & Wilkins 802 D3 monitors, and utilizes premium PCM, DSD & DXD converters from Merging Technologies and Mytek Digital. A Rupert Neve 5060 centerpiece mixer, a plethora of analog outboard gear, and your choice of Studer tape machines are on hand. This room primarily works in Pyramix and Wavelab, with advanced restoration, mixing and mastering plugins.

STUDIO NORTH
STUDIO NORTH: Geared toward archiving / reissue mastering of lacquer disc, vinyl, and mono / stereo analog tape, Studio North features a custom Technics SP-15 turntable, Studer tape machine (multiple format headstacks), Merging Technologies Hapi, Focusrite Dante Rednet converter and B&W 802 Nautilus monitors. This studio primarily works in Pyramix and Wavelab DAWs, with advanced sound restoration capabilities. This studio also offers a perfect space for multitrack editing either on speakers or STAX Lambda headphones.

STUDIO WEST
STUDIO WEST: is our primary recording space at Swan Studios NYC, with an isolation booth linked directly to the main control room. This studio contains the bulk of our tape machines from quarter inch to 2” formats as well as legacy digital recorders. This room was designed with surround capabilities based on the PMC twotwo speaker series, as well as the Bowers & Wilkins Dolby Atmos format in a 9.1.4 configuration. Monitor control is via the Grace Design M908 with optional Focusrite HD32R / A16R converters, SSL Nucleus2 control surface, Pro Tools HD Ultimate (Mac & PC), Pyramix and Wavelab Pro DAWs. This is also where we do video editing and production through DaVinci Resolve, including “Live from Swan Studios NYC” programming. DAW connections range from Dante, to Merging Ravenna, to Grace USB2 for a choice of formats, signal routing and the capability of personal DAW connection.
